I hope that all of you had a blessed Christmas and are having a wonderful holiday season so far. As the new year comes in and we all settle back into our responsibilities, Bruce and I will be back on the road again. To see Bruce's travels for Jan - Feb. click HERE .
This is my itinerary:
January 10 - 17 - I'm along for the ride as a part of the Enough for Everyone delegation to Nicaragua. Along with about 12 others, we will learn about coffee production, sweat-free T-shirts and providing credit to low-income communities by spending time and learning from coffee farmers, co-op owners and ecumenical agencies. We'll even stay in the homes of coffee growers and help pick/process coffee for production!! I'm looking forward to this trip!!
January 28 - 30 = I'll be attending the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators (APCE) conference in San Antonio, TX. I'll be there with GAC Executive Director Linda Valentine as a part of a Conversation Group and speak at the PCUSA Denominational Lunch. Outside of one day at their conference in Atlanta when I was in seminary, I have never had the opportunity to attend. As a graduate of Presbyterian School of Christian Education (now Union-PSCE) I am excited to spend time with fellow church educators and see what is behind the curtain ;-)
As the rest with family and church comes to an end, continue to keep both Bruce and I in your prayers as we travel and experience the story of our church!

I'll try not to be jealous that you'll be the first one out of the country ;-)
